Travel Clinic
As a part of our consultation services, we offer pre-travel assessments to Carleton University staff and students. If you are planning a trip to a foreign country we can prescribe the appropriate vaccinations and medications for your destination. In addition, we provide counselling regarding disease prevention and safety during your trip.
To book a consultation, please first complete this form and drop it off at the pharmacy. The form contains an information section that will answer many frequently-asked questions.
During the consultation, the pharmacist will create a personalized care plan including prescriptions for the medications and vaccinations you need for travel and a vaccine administration schedule. The pharmacist will also disucss and give you some printed information about the diseases in the regions to which you are traveling and the medications you will be using to prevent or treat them.
